I am really confused now. What's all the buzz about not being able to install ubiboot with windows system? Is there a new method of installing ubiboot or a new version that strictly requires a linux...

Install Ubiboot (http://wiki.maemo.org/ubiboot) first follow the steps in the wiki to install it.
When its up and running(I.e shows up at boot). You can go on and install sailfish.

Didn't want to post anything here, #nooffence but most of you are acting like children.
Nokia lumia fones are actually great. But no OS is perfect. The UI is clean and neat. But inadequate features...
