the slow down in whatsupp is likely due to some kind of swapping. i switched off my mmc swap partition and relied only on zram. whatsup lagged noticeably less and if there were lags, they were also...

any tips for tightening the rear cover? it keeps coming lose and my TOHKBD loses connectivity with the phone.

I notice if I push the cover towards the bottom of the phone it tightens but it slides...

got mine 4 days ago

the keys are still quite stiff so i can't type that fast yet.
the back cover fitting isn't so tight and it can come off easily.
the shapeways printed plastic also gets dirty...

it's not just images causing lag. when I get chat messages and have to switch between chatting with different friends, whatsup also lags. and yes, I do see the "whatsup is not responding" message...

I think the upgrade to Qt5.2 is the main culprit for the delays. i'm willing to be patient. besides, it's not like the phone is completely unusable without update 9.

i actually like the edges the way it is. those rounded edges like on the samsung galaxy makes the phone look ugly. :)

i don't hold my phone that tightly till it the edges dig into the flesh and...

either replace only callvibra.sh file in your phone or reinstall as per the instructions above.

yes, it is possible. did some tests and discovered the location of the proximity device. i'll modify the script and post it up later when i'm free.

alien dalvik runs 4.1.2 if i remember.

paid apps from google play store mostly won't work. they have dependencies on the google play apps and services that need to be installed in the dalvik VM....
