I had same problem.

Log in to email.nokia.com, edit Gmail server settings and delete all SMTP (outgoing) entries. Save it.

OK, it started to happening on my phone, too. It must be something wrong on Gmail side.

But using Nokia Messaging everything is working without any problem.

- install U-Boot with kernel 2.6.28-omap1
- install kernel-power-bootimg (if asked, don't flash it)

- restart (not reboot)

I'm on BlessN900 0.49 too, and fcam-drivers 1.0.7-2, KP 51.

I don't think it's CSSU related, I had same problem with testing, thumb and now with stable version.

I have same problem on both N900's. I don't know if it's related to kernel, I'm using KP 51, CSSU stable.

Restart always helps, but if you don't have time to wait for it...what I do is:

You must be using Desktop Command Execution Widget!

I'm not asking you to try with any other email provider. Use your existing Hotmail account and register it trough Nokia Messaging. It's much faster and it supports push email.
