When it works, Pandora is a magnificent tool for finding both new artists and new songs by artists you already like. And pyradio is a great way to access it.

You could keep it on so that when the update is pushed, it'll automaticaly detect the update.

I was on 3G, and signal strength was full on the whole time. I was on IRC at the same time as well, and didn't have any trouble.
