I vote for leaving. Xperia X wont get not just Android support update, but rest hardware related bugs also wont be fixed: camera, bluetooth, nfc and so on.

Grab one, it just like i did. JP1 was hardly alive, bought x, spent a couple of weeks with android, couldnt stand it anymore and got sailfish x. No alternatives anyway. For now.

I got exactly oposite, galery just doubled all my photos, was surprised to see nearly 10 000 pictures :D did the tracker database refresh and got back to real 4984 photos :)

Isn't that software feature? My brother has Xperia XA, and it charges fast up to 90 percent, green light on, when slowly builds up till 100. On Sailfish X it charges straight to 100, no slowdowns...

I had the same problem with earlier update last year, just updated via terminal version --dup, other updates after that went fine.

The driver works, i guess you just missed one line in the manual, just like I did :) Camera is poor, but after some playing can still take sharp pictures, like 1 out of 5. Camera was the main thing...

I used lowmemorykiller at ajd 9999 and min free 1 on JP1, never had any single kill. O Sailfish X some native apps crashes, but i think its not because of OOM.

On JP1 I used to set memory killer module at: adj 9999 and min free 1 (or vice versa), also wrote these values somewhere in init.rc, to save them in case of reboot. But now cant find these original...
