No, my problem seems to be different, I do not use apps that are known to cause the problem (Phonehook, Aliendalvik Control or apps that uses overlays).

Yes, I can ssh the device. So you mean the packages are in a cache and I can install these, OK, will try this.

The last update in my Jolla1 device did no go well. When I switch on the device, the Jolla logo appears a short while and then the screen stays black, the led is lit.

Another difference between Jolla1 and Jolla C/Aquafish is that the latter do not have accelerometers.
This can be annoying when using some apps like Stelarium.

Quite interesting to see how the home menu is organized in 3 parts, from top to bottom. And I hope there's a parameter to hide the arrow at the bottom of the screen, it takes up space.
