Sometimes it tries to connect using IPv6 and fails. I have no idea why this happens but you could workaround by adding the following line:
forceIPv4=1
to [Network] section in...

Could you try to change the font in /opt/cloudgps/cloudgps.ini to something else that supports Greek letters and report back if it renders correctly?

Would you care sharing your Greek keyboard...

The text in landscape search box is not displayed right. In portrait it should display fine. Searching (after pressing Enter) should work the same way in portrait and landscape.

Try running the app using the following command line in x-terminal:

Could you post the other cloudgps.ini file that is located in /home/user/.cloudgps directory?

After posting it here please try to delete it and run CloudGPS again.

Not sure if I understand correctly what you are trying to convey to me but I will try with the closest thing I can think of. I think you are describing a situation when background tile loading...

Thanks for reporting. Landscape vkb and search text is not implemented yet. A fix will be there soon.



GPS Recorder uses liblocation to access GPS. CloudGPS used liblocation too in earlier...

Package 0.6.4 does not have correct package dependencies. This is probably the cause of many problems reported here. I will try to address that soon.

I noticed that on N900 the satellite update are very rare. I did add one line to force the updates as often as possible. Not sure if it helped a bit but I was able to get a fix on N900 with that...

Thanks, I tried to make it look more modern and the icons should be much more easily visible no matter if the map is very bright or very dark. Maybe the icons are not best right now but I am afraid...

Version 0.6.4 for N900 uploaded to extras-devel. This release will not be promoted to extras - its a development release and it introduces performance and stability problems.
