Re: Just bought a Windows ce 5.0 device and thiinking of changing to linux

I fear it's slow because the processor is not very fast and it doesn't have much RAM. With that said porting Linux to it is a quite valid request, though I fear you underestimate the difficultly...

Re: [Announce] Snuggle : Geolocation using CellID and Google APIs

Looks cool. It would be especially useful if you cached and stored the location of known cellids so that it could be used without switching on a network device. Along these lines, being able to...

Re: Brainstorm: Porting maemo to other devices instead

Well Droid 3 is ideal-ish as it's an OMAP 4 (so the Pandaboard stuff should be reasonably close), however as it's a Motorola phone, it's probably not so easy. In addition it's not available in the UK...

Re: Brainstorm: Porting maemo to other devices instead

The issue with Mer/Nemo/Meego at the moment, for me at least, is that after spending some significant time getting the Samsung Galaxy Tab to boot Nemo (I imagine it will be easier with the next...

Re: [Request] mBarcode for Harmattan

With that said I managed to install it (the Nokia packaged libdmtx has a slightly different name so PhotoAnalyser conflicted, shame Ovi doesn't tell you why things have gone wrong and instead blames...

Re: [Request] mBarcode for Harmattan

Hey chaps,

Sorry I've not been following the forum for a while.

I've got mBarcode-lite pretty much finished (my wife and I have a baby and work has been busy, so working time has been somewhat...

Re: Question about QtSDK's 'publish to extra' feature

Has it not finished now, and you need to manually submit the *.changes and then *.tar.gz and *.dsc files to Extras Assistant?

Alternatively perhaps it's trying to upload them for you, did you have...

Re: The in-development Maemo 5 Community SSU

That was an issue before CSSU. You need to uninstall account-plugin-salut or install avahi iirc

Re: Samsung sends free SGS2 to developer of cyanogen mod

Well that's good news, would be great for Samsung to embrace developers (and I'm just thinking about releasing code and info, not even free hw), bring it on :)

Re: N9 hits FCC??? Nokia N9 Teaser Video

There was an FCC filing, with a hold on pictures for 45 days from the filing date, which makes the release date for the pictures around the 25th of June.

The device which was filed for has a...

Re: Samsung Galaxy Tab Info Thread
