Seems that they don't. The focus ring appears when the shutter button is pressed half way but when it is pressed to the bottom the Snapdragon camera is started.
Also the ports don't have an option...

I am looking for a communication device (at least calls and sms, preferably also Whatsapp), not a device to consume media.
Therefore, a dumb phone is superior over an iPhone (battery lasts weeks...
