I wanted to design TouchSearch like that when I started, but it is impossible. Desktop widgets cannot have data entered directly into them via the keyboard -- this is a limitation of the device...

I think I found the problem. I was thinking there was an issue with the code I changed but now it appears to be a permissions problem.

I'll try to find a fix it tonight. Thanks for the feedback.

If you go to into TouchSearch's options dialog > Configure > Amazon > Edit, you can select Language/Localization and it'll give you the option to select "co.uk" for the domain!

Everything looks like it is installed OK. The only thing I can suggest is roving TouchSearch's settings dir:

rm -rf /home/user/.touchsearch/

Reboot, and see if this helps.

Yes, TouchSearch uses google.com/custom to search the web. This is the same service that many websites and other desktop widgets use to search.
