Aww. I was so looking forward to the deb. I refuse to activate developermode as it seems to slow my phone down a bit. May or may not be true. Giving it some time to see if it matters or not :P .

I wouldnt say any of the android browsers can even compare to the n900 browser. In my experience at least.

Mostly due to the mouseability on the n900, and the HW keyboard making the experience...

N9 has a bigger screen, as evident in the picture. Also theres the lack of front facing camera, which we also see in the picture. Not sure if we see the charging LED, and Im not sure if both phones...

Allrighty, so I need to know where specifically I can find ALL the application icons that appear in the appscreen. Im talking stock ones, plus the ones you install yourself.

go to settings, time and language, text input.. enable swype.

enter somewhere that brings up vkb. swipe cross the vkb to enable swype vkb.

Its more ios-like in some ways, of course. But thats like saying android is more ios-like than maemo5. which it is, of course.

Nope, the other logical way is the top of the device.

Yeah I agree, you mean swiping from the left = going back, swiping from right = move to background, top = close, bottom = something else, that...
