You calm me, I know about "gtk/qt looks VERY ugly" starting from Fremantle on N900. But not any app has problem here and I was just worrying that they disable a regular X11 interface.

No, I am not sure about auto power ON. That he said - you able to just touch handset to phone and both are "connected". Don't ask me why NFC is needed for connection, so, I translated it to "paired"...

No, I saw it - it is very solid and attached to body very well. And it is definitely a different manufacturer, I looked on it to figure out - is it microUSB A or B.

Yes, that's possible, the man before me was much more successful but it seems he was more fluent in Android - I use N900.

Yesterday, I had my hands in N9 around 10min in Nokia Mountain View, CA. There was a "meetup" organized by Quim Gil and participants had a chance to play with it.
So, my short impression is here....
