Ive lived with the N900 as is for a while, as up till now its done what i want.

I love the Keyboard so havent upgraded my phone, But untill i lost twitter i wasnt to...

Well there is a level editor.
Its not flasy but it works pretty well.

Ive developed about 25 custom levels now, about half of them on the Editor. and its much easier using the editor than doing...

The install of the Custom pack is still valid, you just need to copy the new levels over the spare levels in custom pack 1
Problem is that there now more levels than 1 pack so Rovio pack 2 can be...

I use my stylus 90% of the time. Ive grown up with a dell Axim where it was needed. Its not really needed on the N900 but i like it. I feel more comfortable with it.

lets breakdown the commands


tar xzf custom-release.gz

will untar the file into a directory called custom.
MAKE SURE THIS IS NOT ON ROOT

so /home/user
is a good place.

ahhh i suspect i know what happened. Im guessin the tarred file was untarred in the root directory.

Im updating my instructions to make it clearer not to do that

its been suggested by kingzeus, that my instructions for installing Angry bird had bricked his phone and he has had to reflash.

there all in pack1, with some scripts that swap between the rovio and custom levels.

and thats a stage process

1) a setup script

2) a switching script that will swap between Rovio and custom levels
