Re: [Announce] Pebble Watch Connector daemon
Nope, still alive and kicking :). Although I didn't do any development in my spare time the last couple of months.
I tried two different routes. Both using direct/"low level" DBus calls...

Re: [Announce] Pebble Watch Connector daemon
I'm just wondering how you're going keep up with RockWork and the other way around. As I've contributed a lot of code (including the Sailfish port) to Kodimote (previously Xbmcremote) which is...

Re: Sailfish / Pebble users' club
I think it's a bit early for that. First let me build something which actually works :) Although if you really want to you can still find a donation link in Smokus Pebbled thread. As I posted a...

Re: Sailfish / Pebble users' club
Before i start working on a feature I mostly both check Smokus Pebble and Pebbles libpebble2 to get a general idea about how things should work, if there are any pitfalls et cetera. So it's not that...

Re: Sailfish / Pebble users' club
Building from scratch means I can "design" everything the way I want to. And I can thus build it in such a way that the features I want to include are easily possible. As in the end I also want the...

There are many areas were help is appropriated. In time I will of course publish to source code so others can contribute. I'll need tests/users who report feedback. And for the notifications I'll...

I'm still alive :) I've started working on my own Pebble app/daemon. Currently this daemon is (only) capable off:
Adding and removing timeline pins based on the Jolla Calendar

Re: [Announce] Pebble Watch Connector daemon
Just a quick heads up. After an evening of sending test builds to HtheB and getting logs back I now have partially working PebbleJS support. So that means that (some) apps now have internet and GPS...

Re: [Announce] Pebble Watch Connector daemon
IIRC there's only type specific handling for SMS, email, Twitter and Facebook. And as said SMS, Twitter and Facebook are still merged to the same "type" at some point. All other types (so Situations,...

Re: [Announce] Pebble Watch Connector daemon
This should actually work. Which types of notifications did you receive? As I think Facebook, Twitter and SMS are all merged into "SMS" and thus use the same icon. But SMS and Email should use...

Yes, that's correct. And Smoku also merged it already. So it also should be in the next official release. I was just too enthusiastic about it finally working, so I first posted it here and...

Re: [Announce] [N900,N950,N9] Xbmcremote
Sorry for the late response. I only briefly read your comment on OpenRepos on my phone at the time.
All buttons are build the same. So my guess would be the "Video" icon in Sailfish changed. As...

Re: [Announce] Pebble Watch Connector daemon
If I implemented everything properly you should get 64 chars for the sender, 64 chars for the subject, and 512 chars for the body (after you open the pin). But I don't think this has been tested...

That's good to hear :) So the remaining issue after implementing the protocol was the app not recognizing the Time Steel.
I will try to clean up the code (much) later today or tomorrow, after...

Yep, in the end there is still a pretty simple protocol between the phone app the watch. So it doesn't really matter where the data is coming from, as long as the phone app understands it and can...

As far as I've seen all notifications are kinda the same. They just contain a flag which states it's for SMS, e-mail etc. So after "converting" all notifications to the new protocol for the timeline...

Re: [Announce] [N900,N950,N9] Xbmcremote
Version 2.0.1, with the fix, has just been uploaded to OpenRepos/Warehouse, and is thus available now. I have also uploaded it to Jolla Harbour, were it will hopefully be accepted tomorrow.
