Re: The Future of Jolla's Tablet
Saturday is the last day. Today is the last day for people who've been offered tablets to complete their orders, otherwise they'll be offered to someone else. It seems a bit late to me - they may...

Re: The Future of Jolla's Tablet
There were people who initially weren't due to receive a tablet, but their status switched to 'pending shipment' in the first couple of days. You'd think this would have been because of other people...

Re: The Future of Jolla's Tablet
I'm not sure you're really saying no if you still want Sailfish to succeed, but that's a reasonable middle ground. I can't see how it could get any better nourished if Jolla were to fold though. Most...

Re: The Future of Jolla's Tablet
Science can also admit when it was wrong.
I think I might buy another Lastu tablet case today. They're available in many different variations than the original Jolla one.

Re: Where to Find Jolla Tablet online?
Worse than that, they happened to hit a funding delay and be temporarily out of cash just when the factory needed to be paid to ship the existing tablets and make more. In the few weeks it took to...

Re: The Future of Jolla's Tablet
Until Apple invent 4" phones later this year, then Samsung and everyone else will make them. I can't wait for Apple to invent phones with hardware keyboards.

Re: Quickddit for SailfishOS
I've used Android clients before, and seen none as clean and easy to use as Quickddit. Silica's simplicity really helps apps concentrate on the information they need to convey rather than the fluff...

Re: Jolla TABLET User Experience Thread
Hmm not sure. Never anywhere near flat for sure. Last time it happened I think it was in the 70s. I'm still assuming it's to do with the high cpu when idle, as it seems to be doing that when it goes...

Re: Jolla TABLET User Experience Thread
What do you mean by no joy? There's no automount for USB OTG drives on the tablet as yet. You have to mount it yourself. What does it say in dmesg when you plug it in?
