I have updated my Jolla1 without problems.
I change to an empty SD card and backup up on that, update OS and put the old SD card back after update.
Had no issues, but not my daily phone so not...

Could be caused by CS (Circuit Switched) fallback: Phone normally on 4G, but switch to 2G/3G for native audio calls because (roaming) operator is not supporting VoLTE for this model. Less noticeable...

You mean VoLTE on WiFi? That is dependent on your mobile operator, and they might limit to national IPs.

One can on the other hand use different apps and/or SIP operators.

Have not tried it myself.

Using the N900s FM sender work nicely in classic (read: old) cars.

Login with ssh command from another computer is normally easier than using the terminal on the phone itself (bigger screen and proper keyboard). I normally turn off remote connection when I do not...

Perhaps you might need to active the SIM card first on web?
Telenor in Norway has that as routine to protect SIM cards sent by post.

Now I check for new episodes, manually select and download episodes (at home). After I have listen to an episode I usually delete it...
