What happens if you just run the download command directly?

df is the "disk free" command which shows you how much space you have on your disk. The -m option displays the result in megabytes.
If you start an xterm just type in df -m to check you have enough...

Do you mean the OSD (on screen display) which mplayer can show while playing a video?
If so, try the keyboard shortcut o which should toggle the OSD options.

Hi,

Here is the tar of my modified script which seems to be working for me. Good suggestion to drop it in a user area (though I think it will need to be a unix, not FAT, partition for the file...
