Re: Maemo: 100% Free Software (GPL, etc...)
I do agree that confrontational attitude will lead the open source community nowhere. On the other hand I also believe you put way too much of the burden on the open source community. The community...

Re: Ask the Council!
Ok I had a look at the proposed working group and tried as much as possible to give them all the same "look".
Would you mind to have a look at the UX working group page to be sure everything is...

Re: is there a formal bounty system?
That is actually not a bad idea at all. I would like to see something like that implemented in MeeGo.
Say 5 users band together (the bounty shareholders) and put on the table 20$ each for feature...

Re: Ask the Council!
First, thanks everyone for your answers !
I applaud your initiative.
Do you think that a clear explanation of what and how a new user can contribute would increase their likeliness of...

Well, I will fire the first round if you don't mind.
I have seen comments from old-timers (or experienced users if you prefer) regarding the flood of new users joining Maemo.org after they bought...

Re: Cleaning N900 FUD
Prioritize your top 3 features and then buy the phone corresponding to those features.
Mine were :
1) Open source
2) Wi-Fi browsing
3) Screen Resolution 800x480 and above
Or if you prefer...

Re: Cleaning N900 FUD
That represent again why I think the N900 has still a long way to go before being "abandoned" by Nokia. MeeGo is not ready and the first MeeGo device is not ready.
Assuming Nokia/Intel are not...

Re: Cleaning N900 FUD
