Until the next Jolla phone is widely compatible in North America I've chosen to go with a Blackberry Z30. The Z30 is currently on sale at least in the US and Canada directly from the Blackberry shop....

I think it would be fairly poor design to place speakers on the rear of the device as shown in the picture (http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=94157&page=75) above so that sound is projected away...

Ok, I'm wrong... but taking the N900 distribution into consideration, I stand by my comment in that those outside the EU should not have to wait for the devices to officially show up in the shops.

Incidentally, I sold my A4000 for parts in 2004 and built my first Windows PC. And it was only last year that I parted with my A500. ImageFX and Octamed were pretty cool....

N900 CPU as-daemon MfE calendar
I interrupted one or more processes with a power down to swap out a SIM card and subsequently corrupted a few things being my MfE account and the Calendar. The result was a crippling near 100% CPU...

I've had my N900 for almost two years now. Most of the time I've been running XLV with limits 250 900. This provides me with the performance that I expect from the device.
