Re: Nokia N9 vs Galaxy S2
That always depends to some extend on your finger dexterity (and size) of course, but reviewers so far only had good things to say about the N9 virtual keyboard:

Re: Nokia N9 vs Galaxy S2
The same reason Macs are overpriced: The overall build-quality and their uniqueness justifies it. "Run-of-the-mill" products like most Android phones are always going to be cheaper. Also, Android/WP7...

Re: Nokia N9 vs Galaxy S2
Well, think about what you need the processor for. The UI is fluid on the N9, Android is not the most performant operating system, so a faster CPU merely makes it adequate. Videos run just fine on...

Re: N9 [Shipping]: It's finally here [for some]!
I don't have the final hardware, so I can't comment on it (some issues had to be fixed to make the white casing work reliably, so it may not be quite the same material).
Of course you will be able...

Re: N9 [Shipping]: It's finally here [for some]!
Finally. :) I have been using a glossy white prototype, and IMO it is the most elegant of all. One would think that it is simple to bring out a device in white, but it is not... So I am glad that we...

Re: Getting new phone: N9 or N900?
Not that there is anything wrong with it, but I find it a bit weird when people say "N900 for developers". Do you guys really develop on your phone?
The N9 just strikes me as the far more...

Re: The Big Nokia N9 Thread
No proof, this is just friendly information for N9 owners. If you need this information verified to make a buying decision, please assume that everything I say is false and just wait for the actual...

Re: The Big Nokia N9 Thread
I believe both issues are fixed already (centring on text, and scrolling in text boxes with two-finger-scroll). Should come in one of the updates then.

Re: [Announce] EasyList for N9/N950
This is cool, but why do I have to enter a source in the sync options? At least there should be a default. :)
The content type of the source edit field should probably be url, so you get the /...

Re: No more good phones?
There is no problem whatsoever with multitasking or incoming call performance on the N9. Dual core is not needed for that. The problems of the N900 are caused by lack of RAM and inadequate software....

Re: [Announce] EasyList for N9/N950
Oh one more thing: When creating a new list, it pre-fills the entry with the name of the active list. I find this more cumbersome than helpful (a compromise would be to keep it, but select the whole...

Re: [Announce] EasyList for N9/N950
Thanks! Here is an updated list of my suggestions with possibly some new details (based on 0.0.10), just ignore what you are already aware of:
- The splashscreen you added has some odd pattern in...

Re: [Announce] EasyList for N9/N950
It works for me, so I guess that is a bug that was fixed in the meantime.
Hm, but most apps hide the arrow when it's not needed. I guess it does no harm, but consider that the first view is...

Re: [Announce] EasyList for N9/N950
Cool, thanks. Regarding the view headers:
First, I am not suggesting that you remove it completely. Having it there for recognizability of the app in the overview is okay (that's what it's meant...

Re: [Announce] EasyList for N9/N950
Very nice, I was hoping there would be a simple checklist like this soon (certainly beats using Notes for shopping).
I have a few suggestions though:
1) The arrows in the viewheader indicate a...

Don't forget that most people don't fawn over their mobile phones like we do. They buy a cool looking device when they see their friends use it, or they check what's available when they need a new...

Officially, no (only lockscreen wallpaper). Unofficially, those screens are easy to modify through hacking some CSS (and this can also be done as themes, though there is no default GUI to switch...

Re: N9: It's finally here
What do you really want, a phone that is easier to use than the iPhone, or a phone that is _radically_ easier to use than the iPhone? If the N9 is "just" better, it's not good enough for every day...

Alarm ringing is pretty much the same thing. When you swipe the green bar (just a little), the alarm stops and you get the actual alarm dialog with "stop" and "snooze" buttons. I believe if you don't...

There is a lot...

Yes, you can change the settings for each network to not connect automatically though.
I don't think so, but I'm not too sure how the browser handles text sizes, and it's being improved and...

Re: Nokia N950 vs Nokia N9
From my point of view:
N950:
- Bigger size, odd handling, feels like a previous-generation phone to me (especially after using the N9 for a while).
- I wouldn't call the hinge flimsy, but...
