It uses X11 technology, so easy to port if all extensions (only XRecord) are present.

Normally, in Qt everything is native, but for Ovi Suite it seems like they intentionally made it non-native.

I've coded several tools with Qt on Windows..It's execellent, whether on mac or windows or linux (and soon iphone, too!)

a portable battery is a good idea also.
with one with 4500mAh you can travel a long way without a need for a wall socket and then when you get to a electric source again, you can charge it again and...

N900 is also sensitive on the sides (only in landscape).
The N900 OS also uses some small swipe movements like in the browser to show the select arrow or to go back..

It is supported but it does not come preinstalled to reduce the installer size, AFAIK.

My installed Qt SDK 1.2 does have the target for maemo.
