I agree with you fully. I use FWTV heavily and I hate horizontal scrolling. Making this option available but not turned on by default would be perfectly reasonable thing to do. Getting rid of this...

I have bought a number of touchscreen devices in the last 6-7 years and not one of them came with screen protector. I wouldn't expect Nokia to start a new trend either.

hmmm... why not? N800 would make a pretty good speakerphone. Not the I have considered using it this way, but I can see why one might want to.
