Mine took a little coaxing to get going. A reboot and stopping and starting the app. Now it works - love the no more transparent bug !!

I might add that using this program still kills me patience wise... Often getting random capitals on first letters of words, nit instead of not and other issues...
Such a pity it's not up to the N9...

I made as purely a place to store the compiled RPM nothing else. I certainly won't be changing any code as that's beyond me...

Yep, I managed to build an rpm within the mersdk VM. Installed to Jolla and seems to be better, prediction - words offered is better and there seems to be less errors when swyping.

Thanks for this Wolke - I tried running and of course needed the Date:Format and Date:Parse perl modules. I tried from CPAN and that didn't work. Anywhere I can grab them myself?

So this worked. It zapped the bad block meta.db file and I re-entered my contacts again. Calendar and Notes untouched :-)

Alas the backup program still stops. Any ideas (without going too far off...

Thankyou xman! The link above did the trick. I am now able to sync the built in N9 calendar with my own owncloud set up. It's very reassuring Ihave a backup seeing my backup program isn't running...

I'll try Owncloud Calendar. I already had it installed for cloud storage testing. I'll let you know how I go syncing my N9 calendar *to* it.
