Whoops, forgot to add python-gdata as a dependency. Fixed in 0.0.1-6 which should arrive in extras-devel within 10 minutes. To force the update, run apt-get update; apt-get install ytcli as root.

Not really. The idea is that you configure the alarm in such a way that it rings whenever you want it. But I guess there isn't full flexibility yet. I'm very busy atm but if I ever get around...

You could also try using the "cron syntax" option and put in something like

00 14 7 * *

This should run the reset every 7th day of the month at...

Alarmed ships with a command line interface that has all the features of the GUI. Type

cd /opt/alarmed/

So according to Luciano Wolf the version 0.4.0-1maemo3 should have fixed the problem. There's already a slightly newer build than that in extras-devel:

pyside-qt4 0.4.0-1maemo4

Write a new script (a text file, for example called "myscript.sh") and place it in /home/user/. Put whatever you want to execute into that script. Then do this:


chown root /home/user/myscript.sh...

Oh lol. Well I made a small mistake in the main executable, which is why it worked for some (those who had bash installed) and not others.

I fixed that. The new build (-5) should work for everyone...
