Re: [Announce] Port Xournal 0.4.2.1 for Maemo

dvjames,

Short answer- You're fine to follow those instructions.

Long answer- Extras-Devel is a repo for packages that are for development, are being tested, or are considered 'not ready for...

Re: [Announce] Adeona compiled for Maemo!

me too. For the deb release I'll probably rename it 'cron' or something just to fool the casual 'ps' anyway. :D (I'll release a deb once GPS is added. image/audio capture will follow...) This is...

[Announce] Adeona compiled for Maemo!

Hello All,

This is more of a preview/proof of concept than anything. I was working on a phone-home app for linux/maemo but the good ole folks at the University of Washington...

mouser,
Sounds like you may have been bitten by this bug (https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3026). There is a kernel patch you can try. Check this thread...

Re: Map Storage and Selection - Help Please.

You are correct. Fat32 is limited...

As for the OP's problem, I would probably move ALL maps to the external MMC. That way you can either use a large (4-8GB) MMC with all the maps or keep the U.S....

Re: [ANNOUNCE] Roadmap-1.1.0j-2 released. Now in Extras Repo!

No, not at this time. I want to add Internationalization support. The easiest way I know to do that is GNU automake tools. The main project doesn't use them.

Honestly, had I not moved the project...

Re: [ANNOUNCE] Roadmap-1.1.0j-2 released. Now in Extras Repo!

Hello All,
O.K. The fix in 1.1.0j-5 allocated more memory than it needed to. I was able to reduce it a bit, hence- 1.1.0j-6

cheers!

I've released 1.1.0j-5. It resolves a bug that crashes...

Re: Carwhisperer: Bluetooth Headset Fun.

You're having problems cause you're standing on the bleeding edge. (14.1.0+CVS).

I've got sox-12.17.9 compiled for os2008 if anyone wants it. It only requires the vorbis libs, which I have also.

Re: Any interest in a lojack-like app for Maemo?

um, no. The primary purpose of the server is to trigger 'findme' mode. the method of returning the data is trivial to implement either way.

cheers,

As others have pointed out. This is totally unethical AND illegal. The only legitimate reason to do so is to audit the security of a network that is YOURS, period. Don't ask us to help you break the...

Honestly, USB host...
