Hi,

The results for the Council elections have been calculated with OpenSTV, using Fractional transfer STV.

Re: Community projects having problems with infrastucture

The main problem exists because we need to compare versions in MySQL. As is not possible, we create an index where we give the version numbers a certain weight. Here...

Re: Council election

Whoa, it feels like I need to hand out a lot of tin foil hats here.

The whole world is not against you, if you feel that way, there is not a whole lot we can do for you.

As for contacting me....

Re: Community projects having problems with infrastucture

I tried this now in the importer. It imported the package now, but I can't guarantee that it won't get stuck somewhere else. Let's see if that is the case :)

I now special cased the 50 version, so...

Re: Community projects having problems with infrastucture

I've spoken with Pali a few times on IRC, he missed me a few times as he pinged me in the evening/night. I tend to be mostly online during central European business hours.

I can't recollect seeing...

Re: Community projects having problems with infrastucture

I have been working on this a few times, together with merlin1991. Talked with Pali about it too a few times.

Last time I cleaned out the repo and database as far as I could, but it seems there is...

Re: Community projects having problems with infrastucture

Afaik that was added because it broke something in some PR release. But I really can't find what it was about anymore. If it works with PR1.3 or CSSU, I guess it can be removed.

Re: Community projects having problems with infrastucture

Promotion is unlocked then, the maintainer still needs to push it. The maintainer will receive an email that he can promote the package. Automatic promotion is something which would need to be added...

Re: Community projects having problems with infrastucture

The lack of testers is the ultimate problem to solve. I guess it doesn't help that you need to go to the website to do QA. Achipa had created a client for doing QA on device though. Nobody really...

Re: apps.formeego.org testing starting

The repositories would be separate as they have a different target. That is not to say the same packages can't be in both of them. There is the added complication that Harmattan and Nemo are using...

Re: apps.formeego.org testing starting

Clean dependencies means that you don't need any other packages from your home project (Or the project the package is building in)

So once you need to upload a lib first to get your package to...

Re: apps.formeego.org testing starting

I guess you are trying this in the client itself? Feedback is not implemented there yet.

Feedback and rating on http://apps.formeego.org should work though.

Re: apps.formeego.org testing starting

Short answer: To prevent a dependency mess, we started with 'clean' builds against the sdk only.

Longer answer: Of course we should try to harness the power of shared libraries etc. To prevent...

Re: Offline Maemo repos?

It works for me, it might be that your local mirror was unavailable.

You should only use fremantle-1.3 for extras, -testing and -devel are only distribution:fremantle

The interface only links to repositories which are...

Re: Promotion from extras devel to testing not happening.

There was indeed an issue with promotion of non-free apps without sources. This should now be fixed and the package should show up within half an hour.
