I'm having a hard time figuring this one out...
I made a very simple player which uses the exact same pipeline as panucci does and I can't seem to get it to crash, perhaps you'll have some luck......

Nope, nothing new in that log. I just tried it myself and it's worse than I thought, it segfaults upon switching from one ogg file to another ogg file...

On the command line by passing the --queue option

Scaletempo looks like the best option seeing as they have a gstreamer plugin. I got the plugin and the demo program to cross-compile perfectly but the plugin doesn't seem to work on maemo...
