Re: How do you use multitasking in N900?
I second this. Another thing I'd love to see is the OS grouping windows of the same application into a single window or object after passing a certain threshold, similar to say, what WIndows does...

Re: How do you use multitasking in N900?
I'm going to describe my usage pattern here but I predict mine will be quite outside the typical usage patterns compared to most users.
I typically have the following open:
1. Browser (3-4...

Re: N920 and Capacitive?
I will say only one thing with regards to the whole "capacitive vs. resistive" argument and I'm done.
I just wish this would hit the market ASAP so I never have to hear another "capacitive vs....

Re: Request for N900 on T-Mobile
Aside from what others have mentioned about why the subsidized handsets aren't really all that, I think you overlook the fact that in the US, we are charged for *incoming* as well as outgoing calls...

Re: N900 Specifications
There are a couple of designs for accelerometers. The one that texaslabrat describes doesn't really have (easily visible) moving structures or elements per se. Basically, the way that design works...

Re: N900 vs Iphone.
I generally hate wading into these "versus" debates but oddly enough, I can't help myself in this case.
So here goes. A bit of background. I used the original iPhone for 3 months (and still...

Re: N900 Missing from T-Mobile (US) Roadmap
It supports both. There is only one model of the N900 (RX-51) that has been circulating among the press and it passed the FCC a little while ago.
Here's the FCC report:...

Re: 3G in U.S. vs Europe/Asia
texaslabrat provided a guess in the affirmative but I thought I'd just confirm it. The answer is yes, if there are different radio configurations (and to an extent, software configurations), Nokia...

Re: Nokia n900 shipping date October 1st!
Actually, the N900 is listed as having Tri-Band UMTS support, meaning that even the Euro models will support AWS. So there shouldn't be any issues with using it in the US on T-Mobile.
However,...
