I wouldn't recomend it.
Would recommend you wait for the HTC Evo. Or if you want a phone now, the just released HTC Desire is not bad either.
Ultimately, it depends on how you use your mobile...

I tried to do the same thing because I wanted to free up space in rootfs.
You cannot put the boot video in MyDocs because it seems that partition isn't mounted untill the N900 has already...

Their excuse could be reasonable. My model number is showing SKU 10208380. I ordered with the 3 15% discounts + topcashback on 19th Oct. Haven't recieved any call or email asking me to re-order.
