Is there a way to output RAW directly without automatic conversion to JPEG? Might be useful if one wanted to compress it with PNG, for example.

Any "analyst" who thinks Nokia should buy Palm is more worthy of getting the axe than Maemo is.

Why would any sane company spend hundreds of millions of dollars buying a company when their own...

It's pretty hard to find info on what GSM and WCDMA bands are used in the Philippines with a google search, but from what I could tell every single one of the carriers there uses frequencies...

Is the voltage and current supplied to the LEDs not controllable by software? If it can be, set it to some value within the safe operation range of the LEDs.

You're basically looking at a video scaler to do that.

The box you linked to seems to be exactly that, but quality will probably be low at that price.
