I would feel wrong giving Nokia any further business, after the way they've treated the n900.

And i couldn't stand owning anything with windows on it.

I think my choice of next phone is going...

It's just so frustrating that Ovi Maps is 99% perfectly good but Nokia just don't care enough to do the 1% that would actually make it usable.

I just want to be able to search the *%^*^** maps...

Well, here's my first proper attempt at drawing on mypaint... if I'd drawn this on paper I wouldn't be particularly pleased about it but it's quite impressive what can be done with this app...

I've tried ctrl-C copying some text in the web browser and then ctrl-V pasting it in X-terminal but it doesn't work... am I doing something wrong or it is not possible to do this?

If I go to Conversations > settings, I can tick a box that says "Receive SMS delivery reports".

I've done this and sent several messages since, but I can't seem to find where these delivery...

On Symbian phones (have done this on an N95 and an N97) there is a bunch of files you can download to your PC from somewhere and then stick in the relevant folder in the phone memory, using the USB...
