So thats it? the N900 is neglected? Why on earth couldnt we get the update at the same time as the others? I got an email today saying that the new OVI store was now up and running, i quickly checked...

Same thing happened to me just 10 minutes after trying my phone for the first time! haha.
Got the same error as you. What i did was to plug the device into my pc and choose the mass storage...

Its a good idea, but i doubt that they would even considering shipping out new back covers to the consumers for free.. But im gonna help by contacting Nokia also my self. Then only time will tell...
