Using the helpful instructions in this thread, I was able to install Navit and using the cloudmade download ( http://downloads.cloudmade.com/ ), I was able to put the entire european map on the N900....

Since they are cheap enough (from Hong Kong) I actually got a sample of both cases : the silicon and the hard case. Beward that it can take a very long time to get to you since it has to go through...
