It is my understanding that Google released the drivers to a bunch of the hardware into the kernel code. It got rejected and removed at some point because the Google devs didn't play by the kernel...

What exactly is Meego ? Openness, synergies, etc.

I'm having a really hard time figuring out what exactly Meego is going to be and how Intel/Nokia are going to open it up.
