FYI frals, I looked into share via service problem and was able to duplicate contacts not loading issue.

I verified that it loads my addressbook with >273 contacts. I did this by printing length...

Just a quick thought. What if fmms uses a new and unique User-Agent? Wouldn't that force some carriers to respect x-wap-profile value since they won't have a clue what the target device's...

I don't think 172.16.74.100 is a publicly accessible address which means you'd need to set a proxy. According to your log your connection is without a proxy.

Attached is patch that sets x-wap-profile header when retrieving MMS. I am still not able to downscale incoming image but it could be that my provider is caching and ignoring UAProf (?)

what it normally means is that there was a problem translating a web resource to its IP address.

If your proxy is a dotted ip like 66.209.11.32 instead of wireless.cingular.com, then the problem...

okay even easier workaround.

- press power button
- select 'Offline mode' from popup menu.
- press power button again
- select 'Normal mode'

your IM connections should now be restored :)
