Quite hard to make one because Maemo 5 UI has some elements hardcoded and they can't be changed. That's why white themes don't just work because you can't change every color.

But then again, In dual mode, if the phone thinks that 3G coverage is not goot enought (something like 1-3 bars), it switches to 2G and speed drops enormously. Instead, if you force it to use just 3G...

There's one, a big one. It does not force you to change 2G when you happen to move on location where somehow 3G coverage is not good enough. So it uses the 3G still when there's not all the bars...
