No - It functions well for many, many reasons - but other smartphones are trying very hard to tie you to the ecosystem and track you to your user account right after you take it out of the box and...

I like it because you can run it without a “user account” and it still functions well.

You need certain devices that are able to run without a user account, disabled backup, rolling through Tor...

I was lucky... I never did and still don't have issues with the USB like others had. It is also not slow and runs very well.

I stumbled onto this thread today and smiled. I love my N900 and still use it on wifi. I just purchased another battery for it about a month ago and was grateful I was still able to find a battery. ...

I would never argue with that. I completely agree. I am arguing for the "options" to do it.

In the end... It's completely ridiculous to have a smartphone that can't delete from the server...
