No time to script/test right now, but an idea:

1. date > ~/lasttime
2. cat|col < ~/lasttime - get hh, mm and ss
3. hh*60*60+mm*60+ss
4. same for "now"
5. diff (3) with (4)

I did not use the 125mhz-kernel. max-freq set at 900, min-freq at 250. Phones has been loaded a couple of times using the normal charger (no usb-connection made!). Used the phone to make a call and...

People are doing potential harmfull things to their mobiles and are not even going to invest 10 minutes of their time to answer themselves obvious questions...

try:

dpkg -l |grep mp-fremantle

And look for similarities. Just reinstall the one which seams to be "right". "dpkg -l" only shows installed package - so you can't damage something.

It's 5 years only, when the cpu runs at 600Mhz (or 720) _all the time_ when it's running. But as the n900 switches clock - the math to calculate the lifespan goes far beyond basics.
