I had my rootfs corrupted running at 830MHz too and so far the filesystem has not been corrupted at 800MHz.

I'm glad I'm not the only unlucky one that can't hit the magical 900MHz mark ^^.

I don't think all omap3430's are created equal. My phone won't even boot with the 900mhz kernel, and even crashes while playing video at 830mhz. My phone seems pretty stable at 800mhz, but I guess...
