Did you reboot after installing the sd card?? If yes, then it is just that reboot seems to make the n900 faster. After 3 to 4 days it will again slow down.

it restarts lots of processes like desktop, status menu, contacts, phone etc. this refreshes your ram usage and hence can be good for uptime of the n900. it would take little battery, shouldn't be...

don't change the default profile of kernel power.

Instead load the ideal profile, save it and make changes to that and make it your default. I have the battery tweak...

I have made vfs cache pressure as 10, after reading stuff on droid forum and all, seems it makes battery last longer. I can see that battery goes down around 1% in an hour with gtalk and gvoice on...

enable devel repository and install transitioncontrol. make all values to 10 from 25 and enjoy, the transitions are way faster.

if you are going to use optimizen900 which recyles all process (recommended to do after swap goes above 200M without any open window or 2 days). you may see some weird behaviour and have to reboot....

it cann't be power kernel. If you are able to listen with default settings you are still running power kernel just that the clock frequency is 500-600. try putting ideal profile and mildly overlock...

yes flash your phne with kernel only option and it would boot up. you csn use the pr image to flash but make sure you use kernel only option. once that is done you can install the power kernel...

have you used swappolube?? try that out. also if you phone is on for say 4 days or so, it becomes lesser responsive... it is better to reboot..

like michaaa62 said, your partition is corrupt. Either clean it like has given or reboot or connect in mass storage and do a safer removal.

thanks did the same and now it running on my phone too.... had to reboot. seems fmtxd is not the process which is running some fx-enabler-daemon is now running instead but it in turn calls fmtxd not...
