Re: Ren'Py ported to n900
Ah I see. Are you familiar with using the terminal? What you can do is copy Katawa Shoujo into any location on your phone that you can, then open the terminal (X Terminal), and do
cp...

Re: Ren'Py ported to n900
Hello, I no longer have my n900, but iirc you just need to copy Katawa Shoujo (or whatever game) into /opt/renpy, and then open the renpy program, select your game as a project, and launch the game...

Re: [Announce] EasyList for N9/N950

Re: Nokia N9 vs Galaxy S2
Almost certainly. Still, as the old adage goes, it's better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all. Try as I may, I cannot love the S2 ;)
Edit: Of course, if Nokia keeps its...

Re: Nokia N9 vs Galaxy S2
In Malaysia they are about equally priced, but as you say the Galaxy clearly has the better hardware specs. Still, if you want some reasons why folks like me chose the N9, here are some.

Re: N9 is here! Personal experiences wanted
In my experience its not the number of open applications that matters, unless you're running high-CPU games and such. It has more to do with background syncing. Since the N9 has pretty good battery...

Re: N9 is here! Personal experiences wanted
N9 owner for a little less than a week now. Overarching impression: it's not perfect, but I think it's the closest damn thing to perfection I've ever held in my hand - and that includes the N900,...

Re: Paging Mr. Valerio Blue Maemo for N9 please
I'd be happy to pay for the app too, it was a great app, though I hope it'd remain free software even if we need to buy it. I wonder how difficult it is for a third party to pick this up if Mr...

Re: Ren'Py ported to n900
Okay! I've discovered what's up with the no-keyboard-input problem.
The problem:
Basically Maemo's Matchbox WM is extra-strict with certain keyboard input related window parameters - it requires...

Re: Ren'Py ported to n900
Just reporting some more issues I discovered after more tinkering:
1. As noted in OP, keyboard input is impossible - but only in SOME games. I have tried 7 games so far including the default 3,...

Re: Ren'Py ported to n900
Awesome stuff! I was not able to launch an existing game with the command you provided though :( On the other hand copying the game to /opt/renpy then selecting it as a project and launching it from...
