I hardly even spoke to him, but I remember him helping me on IRC and indirecly on the forums, always teaching and lending a helping hand.

Had issues updating OTA, it said the problem was libgles1 for me the app requiering this was GLtron. I just thought someone might want to know. I had to get root and try to uninstall libgles1 w/ dpkg...

I suppose even though I use passwords our issues are linked. It would be interesting looking in to this, if nobody has an easy answer any time soon ;)

yes, I figured, but will this have any effects on the system? Since I can't get in with a blank password when using "ssh user@local.ip" I suppose there must be a password already set, does anyone...

Hi, I often ssh in to my device to fiddle with files and such as the tiny keyboard on the N900 can be hard to work with.

However using linux over the years has taught me not to log in as root if...

I see your point..

As mentioned it will be tricky, as the recognition is done by a an external program (as mentioned in the maxi code conversation earlier). I suppose it has to be done upstrem. ;)

I also notised that it won't read data matrix codes. At least the one I tried. My brother was installing the app to read a code but couldn't get it to scan (it was just focusing) I however could scan...
