Thank you for soldering my spare n900. Tested today head to head with my n900 and no problem in reception.

Tools:
-Faircrack 0.41
-Wireshark
-Aircrack

Start wireshark ( on wlan0 ) set filter eapol ( this will show on the spot if you capture the 4 way handshake ) let it run...

The original version is slow to detect ap , 0.41 is instant to discover ap, and in 7 min i was able to get 80k ivs, try to decrypt was instant :D

Thx a lot for the 0.41 Faircrack, is much faster then origianl an the injection works much better ( i dont know why )

Try
1- restart n900
2- run in xterm sudo gainroot load the bleeding edge driv
3- airodump-ng wlan0 see all the networks and close the xterm
4-start de faircrack and see if is working now
for...

for n900 the name of the wirles card is wlan0
example: airodump-ng wlan0
you need a bssid and a station ( the router and the pc conected to the router) if you dont have a pc conected...

hi this will work only if a client is conected on the network.
your bluethoot must be off
1- nokia n900 with prm 1.2
2-update your krenel to power krenel from dl sistem ( reboot )

i try and it works to capture data with aerodump and crack the wep key with aircrack on n900 ( this assuming you have a client conected )
