@Laughing Man, well, you'd have to wait for it to boot up, which i would expect would take longer than your car to start. I'd suggest maximuscool's train of thought. Keep it on, with no widgets/apps...

ermm, well at least for me, on one of my desktops, i use the advanced clock plugin to remove the maemo top bar clock, so i can use a bigger widget clock, on the desktop itself ;)

you can't use that command to enter monitor mode. instead use:

ifconfig wlan0 down
iwconfig wlan0 mode monitor
ifconfig wlan0 up

that should do the trick, then you can proceed.

are saying that u wanna reinstall the orignal power kernel 46?? well, i found it quite fiddly. had to uninstall it manually from app manager,as well as dependencies, like HEN and NITDroid Installer....

I'm not sure if sunvox is in the repos, but check out this thread (dl links at the bottom of the first page ). The GUI is not as pretty as the korg synth on the DS, but i'm willing to bet its more...
