Well, I got that error too, but a reflash isn't necessary. You can prefix all your commands by a backslash to avoid using the aliases "\".

The error in the script is the following:


cd /opt...

I went to the garage and I did a positive review of the "pali" user (search for pali in the "people"). maybe if we are more users doing this, pali will get promoted as a trusted user?

Sure, I did (as root):

echo "63.84.95.11 repository.maemo.org" >> /etc/hosts

Notice the two ">" (putting just one will clobber the host file...)

I use the following command quite frequently (playing music videos for my daughter) and it works flawlessly:


mplayer -fs -loop 0 vid1.avi vid2.avi ...


That's using mplayer, not mediaplayer....

Ah, I've found it: I need to install gstreamer0.10-plugins-good-extra for the video balance pipeline to be present...

Now, the following command line works, but the video is still of an ugly...
