After reflashing PR1.3 I'm facing the same problem. 15GB of music and the music player keeps "Updating library".
In the past (<= PR1.2) it took only a couple of minutes to update the 15GB library....

Sorry for being a bit off topic, but I had more or less the same issue regarding the shuffle feature (stock media player).
I was able to solve the issue by enabling shuffle after starting playback....

Wayfinder doesn't give you a routing list. But you can enter your route and press D-pad UP/DOWN to simulate driving (step by step)...
