Getting the N9 screen back in... flush or not?
Hi All
I have just replaced my housing of my Black 64GB Nokia N9!
Generally very happy with the results, all went to plan! I didnt stripped any screws etc.
But I do have a few problems that...

I have had it in the case for too long! does it no justice! and in black it just looked rubblish once the matt finish came off!
after an hour of careful dismantling it was all done....

I knew there was a difference but didnt know what! I suspect the ones they give you with these ebay auctions are just torq and they are also not of the highest quality....

finally got around to changing my housing! very happy with the result.
except the metal stripped doesnt feel completely flush around the lens, and the screen feels slighty sharp down the sides?...

looks ok! other than the marking next to speaker? it isnt CE marked? but that maybe specific to europe?
Make sure you use good screw drivers and not the ones that come with that housing (philips...

I am now the proud owner of a white 64GB N9! I have done the transfer and managed to avoid stripping any screws thanks to the help I got on here!
I bought the wera screwdrivers as above....

I had this problem after OTA to PR1.2. I never did sort it! I had a Thread on it too! but when i upgraded to PR1.3 i made sure i did it with a computer and completely wiped the phone.

Battery Life improved by placing phone face down
Now this might sound weird but! I thought the standby/notification screen used minimal power?
But over the last 3 days I have been placing my phone face down and I'm now getting a much higher...

I'm not saying its a bad thing! I heard they also have to place the lens a lot closer to the sensor than you would in a normal camera!

I saw a video about this! its not even glass! they use plastic lenses for mobile phones!! but like you say its certified or made by Carl Zeiss!
