I'm on same boat here, no need to add qt in the application name. Maybe just name it to eCoach 2.0 and Other profile would be nice to have.

Could you change map cache location on the Qt version to use same as Mappero (aka. maemo-mapper) and current version of Maep (/home/user/MyDocs/.maps)? I have same maps in two different place...

I'm also one of the lucky ones with N900 and haven't seen any "Out of memory" messages. I have also installed many programs from extras testing so it should not come from default applications.
