Whatsup - Sleep(ing) Modus/Mode; what does it do?
I donated my N9 to my god child and I installed Whatsup for him, although it's not working at 100% (sometimes there's a problem getting the thing online).
Anyway, just yesterday I noticed this...

I don't seem to be able to download QAD WLAN Password Recovery. The process is stuck on "wait". Same goes for WiFi Pass Recovery... :(

I'm fed up with several bugs (number one, the fact that I regularly don't get a ringtone when I receive an SMS), so I'm trading my N9 for a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. My godchild is the new N9 owner.

meePrey - a Prey client for N9
I did a seach for meePrey and can't find anything about it on this forum. At the moment it only supports:
- Alarm feature
- Alert feature
but it looks promising.
I haven't tried it myself,...

It's good to read this, because my N9 indeed didn't/doesn't get hot when using WiFi and multitasking, but when I started to use 3G (mail, RSS, Facebook, Firefox, ...) I noticed it got warm. Not HOT,...

No, no problems at all. The Home Screen rotates very quickly and I've had no freezes since I installed it. (And you can always make a backup first, no?)
I did the same with File Manager Beta....

Copying the sound files to /home/user/.ring-tones (not 'ringtones') seemed to do the trick for me. Take a look at this topic (http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=79822) for more information.

Just opening Music player does the trick for me. It starts looking for new tracks automatically. Try rebooting if this doesn't work.
As for assigning a custom ringtone to each contact, take a look...

I had the same problem as Arthuro_Adam:
I'm using PR 1.1 and Windows XP Home SP3, all updates, to copy MP3-files to /home/user/MyDocs/Music. The files were found, but they didn't seem to work...
