I agree on the form factor, I assume that's the reason for the rather big bezel on the J1, which has just the perfect size imho (my girlfriend finds it too big for her small hands, though).

I had fixed the OH bug with some tin foil, but battery feels even better after the upgrade. haven't used mine too much (few calls, texts, the usual without extensively playing around with it) today...

mine has aged honorably, but it has some wounds.
screen has a deep scratch from falling face first on gravel, sim tray had to be adapted because the upper left corner has a dent, matte coating...

My brother has a Nexus 5 and it's easily the best Android available today, and the price is ok, too. Also, dual booting Sailfish on it will most likely happen in 2014.

Seems like they had to choose - a good panel with a slightly lower resolution, or a 720p crap panel.
I'm happy with their choice, I rather see the occasional pixel than have unbalanced colours or...

mine is almost unusable when a "bad" charger is connected, the touchscreen reacts very weird.
wouldn't have thought it can get as bad as you described it though.
N9 is a diva in every respect ;)

I tried to change the housing on my n9, but one of the screws was so tight that I destroyed the screw head. it's not off, but I can't use any tools in it. I tried a small screwdriver and a bigger...

-swype is much much better!!!
